$70 - Until June 30, 2022, at midnight
$75 - July 1 until August 30, 2022, at midnight
$80 - Sept. 1 until October 30, 2022, at midnight
NO T-SHIRT IF REGISTERING AFTER OCTOBER 20!
There is no registration after October 30, including no "day-of" signups.
A total of 750 runners will be allowed to register for the Half Marathon.
The Half Marathon will begin at 11:30 am.
Finishers' medals will be awarded to each participant that completes the Half Marathon (13.1 miles).
CASH PRIZES FOR BEST RUN TIMES:
Half: Best Time Female = $100.00
Half: Best Time Male = $100.00
Three awards will also be given to runners, per route, for each of the following age groups for runners:
21 - 24, 25 - 29, 30 - 34, 35 - 39, 40 - 44, 45 - 49, 50 - 54, 55 - 59, 60 - 64, 65 - 69 and 70+.
As of 2013, we no longer accept registrations of participants under the age of 21. You must be 21 or older to participate in either race.
Runners are asked to PLEASE bring at least 2 non-perishable food items to packet pickup. Food donations and a portion of the proceeds will go to the Lake Mills Food Pantry!
COURSE DIFFICULTY: THERE ARE SOME HILLS.
Please feel free to drive the routes prior to signing up. Their difficulty will be based upon your experience and comfort level in running.
NOTE: Approximately one-third of the Half Marathon follows the Glacial Drumlin State Trail. The Glacial Drumlin State Trail is made of compressed gravel; built and maintained by the DNR on a decommissioned railroad as a state bike trail. As such, it is fairly level and flat and often used by runners for recreation and training. HOWEVER, there are many shaded areas along this route that will be significantly cooler than other parts of the race. Dress accordingly.
